I just got this in the mail today - Ween: All Request Live 2003 - and it just happened to have a little extra something on it: this video. It was shot with a webcam, as the concert was transmitted live on internet. The playlist was voted by the fans and of course it turned out pretty weird, carefully avoiding all the song everybody was dying to hear. Because that's how hardcore Ween fans tend to be, they need to prove how hardcore they are by picking out songs so obscure even Gene and Dean can't remember ever writing them. But hey. As Gene puts it, "this shit was free so don't fucking complain." I'm not fucking complaining, I'm fucking loving it.
