And speaking of the 90s: fucking dEUS, man, right? Remember your first reaction when you saw the video for "Suds & Soda" (still one of my favorite songs from them). It was brilliant. My first thought was "What's this guy's problem, take a pill, Jesus..." and then I sat down and watched hypnothized as he was banging his hand against his belly, yelling hysterically "Friday! Friday! Friday!", while holding Tom Barman's hand. That image was dada, man. Still is.

And I was listening to the second cd from Worst Case Scenario Remastered, cause they did that. WCS is a fucking great album in itself. I remember once on Most Wanted, when they'd just released WCS, Ray Cokes brought them a canto teacher, as a joke. I squeezed a smile. The album is great, shut up Ray.

So, anyway, on this remastered version there's a second cd which has a few unused songs, plus versions and demos and live versions of the songs on the album. And I've said somewhere before that these guys are big Captain Beefheart fans. Well here you go:

And check out this version of "Suds & Soda". This would be great as a soundtrack for Nosferatu, the Cartoon Network version, it's really camp and weird.
